MEMBERSHIP SURVEY
In an effort to better serve the Members of the Bay St. George Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber has created a confidential survey for members to express their opinions and provide suggestions on how to better improve the Chamber's service to its membership.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Bay St. George Chamber of Commerce have scheduled their Annual General Meeting for December 13, 2011 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. The cost to attend will be $5 per person.
The voting of Executive and Director Positions with the Chamber will take place at this meeting.
The Nominating Committee will be accepting nominations for these positions until December 2, 2011. Names can be submitted to the Chamber Office.
Please note that nominations will be accepted from the floor at the meeting.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Bay St. George Chamber of Commerce prides itself on encouraging the economic growth of the Bay St. George Region. One of the best ways of ensuring the future growth of the area is to invest in the futures of our young people.
The Chamber of Commerce will be presenting a Scholarship valued at $500 again this year to a successful candidate. Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the Chamber Office; the deadline date for submissions is November 30, 2011.
The Scholarship Criteria are as follows:
- Applicants must be within the immediate family of a Chamber member.
- Must be a resident of Bay St. George.
- Must be attending 1st year of a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Preference will be given, but not limited, to students studying in a field of Business and/or Commerce.
- Scholarship value: $500.00
- A committee of the Chamber will screen applicants and grant the Scholarship.
- Family of applicants can not serve on the Screening Process.
- Academic achievement will be considered (must maintain 75% average)
- Decision of the committee is final.
- Consideration will be given to applicants who are involved in community based activities.
- If no qualified applicant is found, the scholarship may not be awarded.
